I admit it – I forgot to record an episode for this yesterday BUT, I think I’m better for it. I like reacting to a show that just happened instead of talking about a show a day or 2 before it happens. I hope you like it. I’ll be live tweeting NXT tomorrow night at @WrestleWatcher, but I admit during the show I accidentally told you to follow me at @WrestleBrand. This is what rock bottom feels like.

Tomorrow night is WWE's Backlash live from Puerto Rico! And even though I haven't been watching the shows because of reasons discussed in this episode (one of which is why I won't be watching Smackdown tonight) - it wasn't going to stop me from talking about it. I'll be live tweeting at @WrestleWatcher, and if you're into making bad choices you can also follow @WrestleBrand. Maybe he'll be watching as well if he's not too busy spending time with his selfish children...

It's WrestleMania weekend! No Brandon. No Live Episode. And just me talking in my car on the way to get some breakfast. So yeah, the podcast has come to this.... I'll be live tweeting all weekend at @WrestleWatcher, and maybe - we'll hear from @WrestleBrand, if he's not to busy unpacking. We get it, Brandon, you're a homeowner now. I am excited about this year's Elimination Chamber, no matter the outcome of the main event. I am just really looking forward to the Montreal crowd (which is tough to say as a lifelong Bruins fan) and how they're going to welcome their hometown boy, Sami Zayn. However it ends, it should make for a memorable night and I'll be here watching and live-tweeting. Oh and my me I mean @WrestleWatcher, and not the guy who used to be on this show - @WrestleBrand, but is probably too busy trying to score Yellowcard tickets. Yeah, neither to do I. GO SAMI!

Happy 2023 wrestling fans! The Royal Rumble is here and I'm ready to talk a little bit about that match as well as the other matches set for tomorrow night. Forgive me if my voice sounds scratchy - I had a camera stuck down my throat today. I survived the drive to Florida with my mother-in-law! But how do I top that? Well, really I can't. I get to watch Crown Jewel from the comfort of my couch - but only AFTER I go to a nice craft fair with my wife and our niece. See, I can do normal human things too. I think the title speaks for itself. Yup, tomorrow I’ll be on the road to Florida, stopping in Virginia for the night – but I have my tablet and there better be WiFi because when she falls asleep at 8pm (and she will) I would be staring at the ceiling with big white cartoon eyes if I don’t get a change to watch this show. Guess what! I (yes me Mike) watched wrestling this week! I watched RAW on Monday (okay the hulu version on Tuesday), I watched Smackdown tonight - AND I even watched a little bit of AEW Dynamite. I am getting back into the groove of things - and looking forward to Summerslam tonight night! Also - holy crap Vince McMahon retired. I can't wait to hear from Brandon has to say as he did send some audio in for this episode. I guilted him into it - he didn't want to let Gary down... GO WRESTLING GO

Since we last met, my Celtics lost the NBA Finals, I've finished watching 30 movies (and 30 podcast) in 30 days, and I've podcasted a whole hell of a lot about Stranger Things. The one thing I haven't stayed up-to-date on is....wrestling! But do you think that's going to stop me from talking about wrestling even for a few minutes?

Look, I'm going to be perfectly honest. I have not been paying enough attention to wrestling this past month. I only have a very basic idea of what is going on - but will that stop me from putting up a quick episode talking about tomorrow night's Hell in a Cell show? A show that I might only have on in the background (if that) while my Celtice play game 2 of the NBA Finals? I mean, you're reading this right now, so you already know the answer to that...

Oh yeah, WrestleMania Backlash is tomorrow! Such a memorable show that Mike waiting until Saturday night to put up an episode about it. Which is this episode. The one you're listening to right now. Lucky.

The only actual host Mike (@WrestleWatcher) is back to talk about Saturday night's Royal Rumble PREMIUM LIVE EVENT! He tried to include Brandon (@WrestleBrand) but once again that proved to be fruitless. Go Wrestling!

Mike was going to talk about NXT New Year's Evil on the last episode, but thought it'd be cooler to break it out into its own episode so he can talk about Brandon not being here yet again! We may need to stop paying this guy.

A brand new PPV for a brand new year, Day 1 kicks of WWE's 2022, and I think it actually could be a really good show. And the "I" in this case is Mike, because once again Brandon is a no show. It's time to give up hope.

You'd think a 100th Episode would be this great celebration, right? Well when you can't even get your co-host to record ONE WORD for you to play as a joke of him not joining the show - you start to realize that the only person you can count on is Gary! Thank you Gary for 100 episodes of listening. But you still voted for Brandon. Oh, and I talk about NXT WarGames that takes place tonight...
